COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about personal care

Will I always have the same carer?

We plan for continuity and introduce the people who will support you. Occasional changes may be needed for leave, sickness or scheduling, and these should be communicated clearly.

Can you help with medication?

Medication support can be considered during assessment and must be included clearly in the care plan. The exact support depends on assessed need and staff competency.

Can personal care begin urgently?

Call the care team to explain the situation. We will tell you honestly what assessment and staffing are possible before agreeing a start date.
